Description
The work will consist of the removal of approximately 1,500,000 cubic yards (CY) of maintenance material with a pipeline dredge. There will be some minor placement area levee work due to a breach in the levee. Estimated completion time is 90 calendar days at a production rate of 500,000 CY per month. Solicitation issue date is 23 February 2009. Response date is 25 March 2009 @ 2:00 PM. The estimated cost range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $20 million and will be advertised as an Unrestricted Procurement. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Armys Single Face to Industry Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view and download the plans, specification and or any amendments for this procurement. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc. To register as an Interested Vendor, visit https://www.fbo.gov.
