Description
The Air Force 784th Combat Sustainment Group is conducting research to determine if adequate capable sources exist for a total set-aside to small businesses or a total set-aside under another Socioeconomic Program in accordance with the terms of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. This effort is for a service requirement for Munitions Disposition and Demilitarization Programs utilizing the Munitions Items Disposition Action System (MIDAS) and the Ammunition Disposition Request (ADR) system. Work is to be completed on Hill AFB, UT. For a detailed listing of the effort and tasks required, see the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Sources must be able to meet all of the criteria defined in the attached draft PWS. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) five year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract is being contemplated. This is not a solicitation or a formal announcement of a requirement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the 784th to an particular acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 784th with capability statements, which at a minimum need to include: -Company Name & Associated CAGE code -Point of Contact Name and Number - Business Status (8(a), Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, etc.) -Capabilities statement should be submitted via e-mail to the following: adam.jurkiewicz@hill.af.mil, Damion.englen@hill.af.mil, & james.bracey@hill.af.mil, no later than 4:00 p.m. mountain standard time (MST) on Wednesday, 21 January 2009.
