Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Contract for the procurement of 23 each of a Calibration Fixture, PSI P/N 81014-1001, NSN 4920-01-419-8143 and 25 each of an Aerial Refueling Coupling Test Kit, PSI P/N 81015-1, NSN 4920-01-483-2490. These items are Peculiar Support Equipment for Aerial Refueling Stores. The Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. There is no data avaialble for this item. The Government intends to procure the above listed item under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1). PSI, Products Support, Inc. (53247), 8331 Bristol Court, Jessup, MD 20794-9689 is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required item. Firms that recognize and can provide this item are encouraged to identify themselves. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation; this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and the following information is required: company name, company address, company point of contract, company phone and fax numbers, size of business, FOB Point Destination or Origin, Tax ID number and DUNS number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by the Agency. Closing date is 16 Feb 2009. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
