Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, for continued maintenance coverage of Applied Biosystems equipment. The items to be covered are ten (10) 9700-96 Well Sample Modules, ten (10) 9700 Base Modules, one (1) 7900HT Sequence Detection System, one (1) GENEAMP PCR SYS 2700 96 Well, and two (2) 3130-16 Genetic Analyzers. All are presently covered by Applied Biosystems' RC Support plan except for the two Genetic Analyzers and the Sequence Detection System, which are covered by the AB Assurance 1 PM plan. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business. For contractual questions contact Linda M.
