- IMR MoveIntermountain Regional Office, Lakewood, Colorado01/10/2009 (A) GENERAL INFORMATION:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for manpower labor for the disassembly of systems furniture and workstations; move and store employee boxed items (box move) and disassembled furniture in a specified location. After the completion of construction, reassemble the workstations and systems furniture per furnished drawings and return employee boxed items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are hereby being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (B) AWARD INFORMATION The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the quoter whose quotation provides the best value to the Government. The National Park Service intends to make award to the quoter who provides the lowest total quoted price, including any applicable freight, and can commence work within the specified time period. The quoter's ability to start work within the specified timeframe is a key element in determination of award. (C) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDEThe proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). (D) SOLICITAION #: Q1272090001. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. (E) NAICS code: 484210; Small business size standard: $25.5 M. (F) Service Contract Act determination WD 05-2081 (Rev. 6) will apply for this contract (G) Contract line items as follows: (1) Phase 1 - teardown 10 workstations, build 8 workstations, 11 box moves, 3 hours additional labor(2) Phase 2 - teardown 3 workstations, 1 box move, 3 hours additional labor(3) Phase 3 - teardown 21 workstations, build 6 workstations, 15 box moves, 11 Hours additional labor (4) Phase 4 - Teardown 1 workstation, build 22 workstations, 24 box moves, 6 hours of additional labor(5) Provide 15 book carts three days prior to work commencement through completion of work(6) Provide 100 auto lock moving boxes 3 days prior to work commencement (consumable item, approx size 12"W x 17"L x 12" H) Note: Quoters shall submit a price for all line items: failure to do so may render the quote unacceptable. (H) SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted promptly at 1:30 pm, MT, on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at National Park Service, 12795 W. Alameda Parkway, Lakewood CO. 80228. Attendance is strongly recommended. (I) EVALUATION CRITERIA:(1)Price(2)Ability to commence work within 5 business days from date of award. (J) QUOTATIONS: Quoters shall e-mail their quotations to Joe Gatlin at joseph_gatlin@nps.gov. Quotations may also be mailed or hand delivered to Joe Gatlin at the site visit address. All quote packages shall be marked "IMR MOVE." Quotes shall be submitted to insure receipt by 2:00 pm local time, Lakewood, Colorado, Friday, January 23, 2009. The anticipated award date is on or about Monday, January 26, 2009. Commencement of work will be required within 5 business days after the date of award. (L) DELIVERY SCHEDULE:Work must begin within 5 business days after date of award. Each phase must be started and completed in numerical order. Phase 1 - approx 5 business days for completionPhase 2 - approx 2 business days for completionPhase 3 - approx 10 business days for completionAfter Phase 3, construction by the property owner will occur. Once construction is complete, the contractor shall begin the final phase within 5 business days of construction completion. Construction is anticipated to take approximately four to six weeks. Phase 4 - approx 15 business days for completion After completion of Phase 4, punch list items shall be completed. (M) DESCRIPTIONThe work consists of manpower labor to disassemble systems furniture and workstations; store all disassembled furniture in a specified location, and after the completion of construction, reassemble workstations and systems furniture per furnished drawings. The awarded contractor will provide the labor and tools to accomplish the disassembly and re-assembly. (N) DELIVERABLESThe contractor shall provide all labor, required tools to conduct furniture removal and assembly, book carts and auto lock moving boxes. (O) SUBMITTALSnone required. (P) MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTPayment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act. The awarded contractor may invoice for each phase or submit a single final invoice. (Q) CCR REGISTRATIONAll vendors wishing to be considered for this solicitation must be successfully registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by the date of proposal submission. Quotations received from quoters who have not successfully and completely registered in CCR by the proposal submission date will be considered as non-responsive and will be rejected. Registration in the CCR database may be completed via www.ccr.gov. CCR registration typically requires five to seven business days for completion. (R) CLAUSESThis solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR).
