Description

USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) intends to award a fixed price purchase order for 40,000 Non-Woven Blankets per specifications in the attached Statement of Work, to the responsible Offeror who presents the lowest cost technically acceptable (LCTA) quotation. USAID is issuing this solicitation as a small business set-aside and intends to award a firm fixed-price Purchase Order as a result of this RFQ. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.105, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M-OAA-DCHA-09-434 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated NAICS code for this procurement is 313230 ‘Blankets, Non-Woven fabric, Manufacturing’. This requirement is unrestricted and only interested Offerors should submit a quotation. Offerors shall address the requirements in the attached Statement of Work. Please submit any questions no later than January 15th to Robert Parnell, via email at rparnell@usaid.gov or telephone 202.712.0727. Your formal RFQ response shall address the requirements provided in the attached Statement of Work. You must complete, scan, and include the Standard Form 1449 duly signed, with your formal RFQ response. Please submit your formal RFQ response shall be referenced by using Solicitation Number M-OAA-DCHA-09-434 to be received no later than the stated closing date and time stated in the RFQ. This Statement of Work defines OFDA’s requirement for the provision of such service. 2.0 Technical Requirements and Specifications: This procurement is for 40,000 Non-Woven Blankets, as described in the attached statement of work. The authorized source, origin, and nationality for this procurement is Geographic Code 000 United States of America.
