- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Acquisition Operations [QMAE] in the Office of Travel, Motor Vehicles and Card Services [TMVCS] portfolio within the Federal Acquisition Service is interested in seeking sources for a variety of green vehicle solutions to include neighborhood electric vehicles (NEV) or street legal electric or gasoline powered low-speed vehicle (LSV) to purchase or lease under GSA Multiple Award Schedules (Schedule 23V). A wide variety of vehicle configurations is sought, including those configured to carry two, four, six, or more passengers, or two passengers and a pick-up bed or other utility box. NEVs/LSVs, must comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 500 for road worthiness, posted at [http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/cfr_2003/octqtr/pdf/49cfr571.500.pdf). Numerous applications are anticipated for these vehicle solutions including (but not limited to) passenger transport, security patrol, special purpose, and delivery. QMAE is conducting market research for future acquisitions for the purchase and lease of green vehicle solutions and is interested in refreshing its source list of qualified suppliers. In addition, the Government is also seeking any qualified sources providing green vehicle solutions to the TMVCS portfolio who may participate in upcoming contract solutions under GSA’s special ordering programs. Vehicle solutions must comply with Federal Standards posted at www.gsa.gov/vehiclestandards. Interested parties should submit a one page capability statement or commercial literature that fully describes the products and services offered.
