- A map showing Bldg. 414 on Kirtland AFB is provided. A revision to the SOCIndustry Document is attached. Contractors without a CAC card will have tocontact Maj. Jennifer Draper (505-846-9308 or Jennifer.Draper@kirtland.af.mil)to be put on the base Entry Access List. Provide full name, DOB, and SSN. Seethe SOC Industry Document for more information. Also, Industry is encouraged to summit questions and comments via theSPAWAR E-Commerce web site regarding the Draft document provided to date. GFO-2 SATELLITE OPERATIONS CENTER (SOC) INDUSTRY DAY: An Industry Day will be held at Kirtland AFB, Bldg. 414 Main Conference Roomin Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Industry Day will be on Wednesday, 21January 2009 from 1130-1600 local time. Topics will include: ExistingPOC/ADFC; Launch Capabilities; MMSOC; RSC Tours. Please see the SOCIndustry Document found on the SPAWAR E-Commerce web site: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under N00039-09-R-0005 for additionalinformation, including the agenda and the required visit request information. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in support of theProgram Executive Office-Command, Control, Communications, Computers,Intelligence and Space (PEO-C4I & Space), Navy Battlespace Awareness andInformation Operations Program Office (PMW-120) intends to conduct anunrestricted competitive procurement for a Navy Altimetry Satellite. ThisAltimetry Satellite replaces the Navy's Geosat Follow-on (GFO) Satellitelaunched in 1998. The program for the new Altimetry Satellite is called GFO-2. The Government intends to award a Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF)/Cost PlusFixed Fee (CPFF) contract. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to beissued in December 2008. The anticipated award date is September 2009.FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, will be utilized.
