- This is a Sources Sought announcement for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Installations-West, has a requirement for services and equipment to repair/replace and upgrade infrastructure, facilities, software, system equipment, and ancillary equipment in support of MCIWEST/MCB Camp Pendleton's Motorola APCO 25 6.5 Smart Zone system, Smart Zone GTR8000 Repeater sub-system, Microwave radio subsystem, Motorola Simulcast Wide-Area Fire Paging sub-system, Motorola ACE3600 Fire Station Alerting sub-system, Motorola ACE3600 Network Fault Monitoring sub-system, Motorola VHF Repeater sub-system, and Motorola Gold Elite/MCC7500 Dispatch system. The goal of this contract is to establish a fully operational and transitioned radio system and supporting sub-systems that provides capable, reliable, and redundant, communications and information technology services that are certified and accredited by the Marine Corps. This service will be solicited under NAICS Code 811213 with a size standard of $6.5M. A draft copy of! the proposed Statement of Work is attached to this notice. Firms are invited to submit the appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references necessary to support that they possess the required capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements. Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) size of business, including: average annual revenue for past three years and number of employees; (3) ownership, indicating whether: Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned, HUBZone, and/or Veteran-Owned Business; (4) number or years in business; (5) two points of contact, including: name, title, phone, fax, and e-mail address; (6) DUNS Number (if available); (7) affiliate information, including parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); (8) a list of customers for relevant work performed during the past five years, including a summary of work performed, contract number, contr! act type, dollar value for each contract referenced, and a customer point of contact with phone number. All interested offerors shall provide a capability statement consisting of no more than 10 pages. Responses to this announcement must include a capabilities statement no later than January 30, 2009.
