- Solicitation AG-82X9-S-09-027 is for the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest. The Government shall provide a 2008 Ford Super Duty F-550 Series chassis with an extended cab. The apparatus shall be a light brush apparatus. The body shall be designed to withstand the rigors of off-road use and wild land fire fighting. Specific details of the apparatus shall be as described in the specifications of the solicitation. Solicitation and related documents will be available on FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. The solicitation will be available for downloading at no cost on or about January 13, 2009 on http://www.fbo.gov. Responses from Offerors will be due on February 13, 2009. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code is 336399, size standard in number of employees is 750. The Government estimate for this project is below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, $100,000. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA. This registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.orca.bpn.gov.
