Description
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure, Sole Source from Alphatron USA, 22 ea., Part # MG5239T/C E2V, Magnetron; high power amplifier used in radars. This office is utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13, and Policies in Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial items. This is 100% Set-Aside Small, Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub Zone Small, Disadvantaged Veteran-Owned, etc. The North American Industry Classification System, (NAICS) is 334511, and the Small Business Size is 750 Employees. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no further solicitation will be issued for this requirement. The Solicitation Number is HSCG33-09-Q-62018. The solicitation incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-28 effective December 12, 2008. Any interested sources who feel they can provide these Magnetrons may submit a quote directly to the Contracting Officer to the following email Deborah.S.Cefaratti@uscg.mil prior to the deadline of Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 1:00PM PST. This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The following provisions apply, to include any addenda, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Delivery, and Past performance. Responses must be received by 1:PM PST on January 20th, 2009 and should be emailed to Deborah.S.Cefaratti@uscg.mil.
