- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source for 19 Storage Connex Description(s): US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Mobile Mini, Inc for 19 storage units ***Sole Source determination is based on the need for the connex units for the storage of documents within the Tucson Sector Headquarters, Tucson, Arizona 85711, units are on site and are filled with documents. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to brenda.lopez@dhs.gov. No faxed documents will be accepted. Verifications of receipt of responses are the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no responsive statements are received by January 20, 2009 at 3:00 pm MST, an award will be made to Mobile Mini, Inc.
