- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number assigned for this procurement will be: W912JB-09-T-4002. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and subsequent contract will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. The associated NAICS code is 424690 and small business size standard is 100. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: 0001: 500 tons of road salt bulk to be delivered in separate 50-100 ton increments to Selfridge ANGB. Deliveries to be scheduled as needed between January and April of 2009. Bulk salt to have the following additives if possible: Yellow Prussiate of Soda(Sodium) and Blue Prussian(Ferric Ferrocyanide). FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which contract award can be made. There are no numbered notes applicable to this solicitation. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, go to the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. All responsible vendors may submit a quote no later than 15 January 2009 at 2:00pm local time to 127 MSC, ATTN: Steven Stocking, 43200 Maple St, Bldg 105, Selfridge ANG Base, MI 48045. NOTE: Due to time constraints, LATE QUOTES will NOT be considered. Quotes may be submitted via email to steven.stocking@miself.ang.af.mil. Telephone quotes will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency Anticipated award date is on or about January 16, 2009. Award will be based on lowest price from a responsible vendor. Quotes are to remain effective for 10 days after close of solicitation.
