- Notice for Other than Full and Open Competition in Charlotte, NC General Information Document Type:Presolicitation Notice Solicitation No.:7NC2018 Posted Date:January 13, 2009 Response Date: January 27, 2009 Category:Lease or Rental of Facilities Contracting Office Address General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), NB Contractor – Jones Lang LaSalle, 1801 K Street, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, DC 20007 Description The U.S. Government intends to lease a total of 4,508 contiguous BOMA usable square feet using other than full and open competition, based on the determination that this is within the best interest of the U.S. Government. The existing lease is for U.S. Geological Survey and expires November 30, 2008 in Charlotte, NC. REQUIRED: The Government requires 4,615 rentable square feet of office space. The space must be contiguous and all services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: Lease will be for ten (10) years at a five (5) year firm term with the Government having cancellation privileges. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: If you desire to submit a location for inspection, please forward information by 5:00 pm EDT, January 27, 2009. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, location of space in the building, rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included), ANSI/BOMA defined usable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
