- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Army INSCOM Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Carahsoft Technologies (TerraGo), 12369 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite D2, Reston, VA 20191-5471 for MAP2PDF Suite to include MAP2PDF for Acrobat and Maintenance; MAP2PDF for ArcGIS (Concurrent per seat) and Maintenance. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Carashoft is the sole source vendor for TerroGo Software products in the United States. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 0700 hrs Eastern Time Zone on 15 January 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determinin g whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the go vernment. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
