- Description
- The following questions and supplemental answers are provided for all potential offerors for the FedRooms Program. 1.Attachment B of the RFQ shows a total of 339,536 room nights booked through the FedRooms (XVU) program. Can GSA provide a percentage breakdown by booking source? (i.e. FedRooms.com, TMC, hotel direct, chain central reservations center) A. Distribution channel data are not available at this time under the current contract; however, the Government would like to receive these data. 2.Can GSA provide the average “hits” per day (or month) the FedRooms.com website is currently getting? A. This is not a requirement under the current contract; however, the Government would like to receive these data. 3.Do the current FedRooms agreements with the hotel stay in effect past the 30SEP09 expiration of the contract with Carlson? If so, what is the expiration date? A. Yes, the current agreements in place with hotels require the rates to be available through December 31, 2009. 4.Do all of the program data stay with GSA after the end of the Carlson contract? i.e. database of participating hotels, historical information on participants, etc. A. GSA retains information that was required to be delivered by the vendor. 5.In Section C.1.b. of the solicitation, it states that the current FedRooms agreements expire on September 30, 2009. It is our understanding that the rates filed by the participating hotels are valid through December 31, 2009. Will the new contractor be required to negotiate new agreements with all participating hotels prior to September 30, 2009 or prior to December 31, 2009? A. GSA expects the vendor’s proposal to address this transition.
