- Description
- The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from capable 8(a) certified firms located in Region IX (California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam) with the ability to perform under a Base Infrastructure Services contract at Edwards AFB, California. The Government is seeking interested 8(a) certified firms who can perform the Base Infrastructure Services contract (NAICS Code 237990, Size Standard $33.5M). Base Infrastructure Services is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for projects related to facilities and facility type systems both interior and exterior of facilities. The contract includes both construction and service type work. Construction and Services pricing will be based upon current R.S. Means estimate guide using Timberline software. Each task order will identify a general scope of work. Work will include tasks in a variety of trades such as provide construction and support services, maintenance, replacement, modifications, system enhancements, systems engineering, surveys, design-build, site preparation, software programming, retro-commissioning, control network installation and design and technical support for Base Infrastructure Support Contract which includes the following systems: Electrical, Water, Fuels, HVAC, Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS), System Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) and associated subsystems, GIS systems and related requirements. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, services and incidentals necessary to complete each delivery order from conception through completion. The contractor shall be capable of performing multiple simultaneous projects. Request electronic responses be provided no later than 02 March 2009. The Government is under no obligation to consider information received after 02 March 2009 as part of the formal market research for this acquisition. Interested parties should submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than close of business - 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time on 02 March 2009. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information: a detailed capabilities statement detailing their experience within the past three years of same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information; business status, business size based on NAICS 237990, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. The response must not exceed 5 pages. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, should one be issued, the successful offeror must be current/active in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). This Sources Sought shall not be construed as a formal solicitation, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. We will not make reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.
