- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00090011 herein cited will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 532412, Small Business Size Standard: $7 Million. (Description): The contractor shall provide services consisting of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment supervision and incidentals necessary to provide Construction Equipment Rental Services on an as-needed basis from February 2, 2009 through September 30, 2009, for the following equipment: 1. Vibrating Sheepfoot Compactor with Drum, Width of 48" with Dozer Blade, Cat Class 300-1340, Single Front Drum, Engine-Turbo Diesel, Weight 14,035 lbs., 1 each at weekly rate $__________ and monthly rate $ __________;4. Vibratory Rammers, Tamper, 4-Cycle Gasoline, Shoe Size of 13" x 13", Perc. Quote Delivery/Pick-up Fees to each of the following project locations: a. 05N1N-Bread Springs, NM $__________; b. N13-Lukachukai, AZ $________; c. N36-Sweetwater, AZ $________; d. N15-Luepp, AZ $________; e. N20-Gap, AZ $________; f. KN0613-Aneth, UT $________; g. Prewitt, NM $________; h. Fort Wingate, NM $________. Delivery is Free on board, F.o.b. Destination, to Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Region road construction projects listed in item number 10 above. The equipment shall be delivered and picked-up within two days notification by authorized Government personnel to and from various BIA road construction projects within the Navajo Region. Equipment rental period shall be from February 2, 2009 through September 30, 2009. Unless the period of performance is extended by the Government, the contractor shall pick up all equipment on or no later than September 30, 2009. The Government will conduct an inspection of the equipment before delivery and acceptance. Equipment will be on an as-needed basis, not all equipment may be utilized at any one given time. Bidders shall include the complete weekly and monthly rental price of the above items including all applicable taxes. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
