Description
January 15, 2009 Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Logistics Office, intends to release a solicitation to acquire service, preventive maintenance and general maintenance of Government owned anesthesia equipment. Contracted effort shall provide all service, preventive maintenance and general maintenance of Government owned anesthesia equipment in accordance with the manufacturers service manuals and procedures. The Government owned anesthesia equipment is manufactured by Datex-Ohmeda. Contractor personnel must possess certification to perform maintenance of Datex-Ohmeda anesthesia equipment from the manufacturer. Contractor shall have the ability to procure parts from manufacturer and non-manufacturer parts will NOT be accepted. The Contractor shall have the ability to perform maintenance functions in all four VISN 22 medical facilities listed below. On-site location include Long Beach, CA; West Los Angeles, CA; Loma Linda, CA; and San Diego, CA. Interested parties must submit an unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) within six (6) days of this announcement demonstratingcapabilities of services required and the ability to acquire or already retain qualified personnel. This notice does not constitute an RFP. Information herein is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding on the Government. The Government will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of a SOC.
