- Description
- Q1 Coverage for GBD's is either one or the other but with the current spec it's not possible for both to happen. The spec calls for the GBD's to be mounted by the PIR's, but at the same time it's calling for them to detect the breaking of glass form all windows in the building. Because of range and obstruction issues mounting the GBD's "only" by the PIR's you will have range issues.A1 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q2 In the spec you are calling for a surface mounted DSR contact, but in a later paragraph you spec that all DSR contacts most be able to be either surface, recessed or flush mounted. This spec will require three different styles of contact. A2 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q3 Spec calls for both "Standard DSP fixed" "or" "pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras for all indoor applications with the only exception being when backlighting issues are observed. We need to have clarified which ones you want at which locations. A3 All cameras shall be fixed Q4 Current spec does not call for contractors to provide any access control strike / magnetic lock work. Our assumption is all strike / magnetic lock work to be provided by us. A4 All physical access control to be provided and installed by the contractor Q5 What type of electric locks are required at each door? A5 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q6 When there is a "Power Failure",. should these doors remain secure or unlock? A6 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q7 Are door contacts required on each door? A7 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q8Are any remote signals sent from the system? If so, what signals, to whom are they sent, and by what transmission method? A8 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q9 Please explain in 2.3.1 your definition of overlapping. A9 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q10 In section 2.2 C Please explain "Provide redundant communication links from control units to CPU" A10 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q11 In section 2.2D Please clarify - "archived alarm events with recorded video at two seperate locations" A11 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q12 In section 2.2E The sentence ends after the word two. ( please elaborate) A12 Strike the words "at two." at the end of the paragraph Q13 In section 2.3.8 (2) is this calling for wireless devices? A13 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q14 In section 2.3.11.1 (G) We so not believe this will be possible on the four rear porch camera's - Will this exception be allowed? A14 Bid as indicated in the specifications. Q15 Who is responsible for the cooling of the closet? A15 Bid as indicated in the specifications.
