- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Joint Dark Energy Mission (JDEM)Telescope Assembly Concept Study which was posted on December 15, 2008. You are notifiedthat the following changes are made: The release of the JDEM Telescope Study RFP has been delayed in order to allow for thecompletion of the Science Coordination Group (SCG) work on the JDEM requirements,originally planned to be completed in mid December, and the completion of the Projectassessment of the reference mission. Completion of the requirements effort andassessment of the reference mission are critical steps necessary to begin studyingtelescope options. In addition, the JDEM Program is exploring options for possiblecollaboration with the European Space Agency. Further information on release of thetelescope study RFP is anticipated in late January.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy ofthe solicitation and amendments (if any).
