- (i) This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The entire FAR can be found at the following website: http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will include both this solicitation and the winning offeror's written proposal. (ii) The Solicitation Number is VA-260-09-RQ-0183. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-29 - Addendum. (iv) This procurement is not set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 238220, and the business size standard is $14 million. (v) Contract line item number(s). 1) Offeror shall provide pricing for Fiberbond brand main air handler pre-filters, DustLok 30 HC with side access, part number 330070412-1, nine hundred (900) each. 2) Offeror shall provide pricing for Filtration Group brand main air handler final filters with side access gasket, 95% MERV14, part number 18284, four hundred sixty (460) each. (vi) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria - see paragraph (a) of the provision - are listed below. Technical and past performance criteria, when combined, are as important as cost or price. (viii) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. (ix) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (x) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Under paragraph (b) of clause 52.212-5, the following FAR clauses are included: 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-34, 52.239-1 Under paragraph (c) of clause 52.212-5, the following FAR clauses are included: 52.222-41.
