Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award for commercial services a sole source contract to American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) located at 1200 New York Avenue Washington, DC 20005. This service is for electronic access via the internet for Library Services and Science online full text access used by all USDA employees and authorized public on site users. All USDA locations worldwide, USDA employees and contractors, cooperators and volunteers performing the work on behalf of USDA and acting within the scope of their relationship with USDA are considered authorized users of the database. The access is for ordinary business, scholarly and educational purposes of the Government, and for personal use, consistent with the Fair Use provision of the United States and international copyright laws. Advancement of Science (AAAS) is the proprietary owners of the database and holds the copyright to the contents. USDA intends to award on 1/30/2009. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
