Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is W90KMT-9005-6004 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Request for Quotes are due by 4 February 2009, 1:00 p.m. Oregon Local Time. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 312113. The United States Property and Fiscal Office of the Oregon Army National Guard is soliciting quotes t o procure the following supply or services: STATEMENT OF WORK The contractor provides all equipment, material, labor, supervision, supplies, and items necessary to support the Oregon Army National Guard's Pre-Mobilization Training conducted at Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett, CA for the following: Refer Trailer Provide the rental of 2 - 48 foot refrigeration vans for Government use only. Contractor is responsible for delivery, set up, continuous operation (including fuel) and maintenance of the vans. The vans are to be used to store ice and must have a constant temperature at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit to keep ice from melting. Vans are to be equipped with both exterior and interior lights, stairs and hand rails for easy access. Vans are to be placed and operational not later than 30 March 2009 and operational thru 29 April 2009. Vans are to be placed in the following areas. 1 at Camp Roberts, CA 93451 1 at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA 93928 ICE Contractor is to provide 384,000 lbs of cubed ice (approximately 19,200 bags at 20 lbs each) and refer trailers for ice storage at each location. Service will be started not later than 30 March. Weekly delivery schedule to the following locations: Camp Roberts, CA 93451 = 295,200 lbs divided by 4 weeks = 73,800 lbs per week to refer trailer. Fort Hunter Liggett, CA 93928 = 88,800 lbs divided by 4 weeks = 22,200 lbs per week to refer trailer. Note: Last delivery may be cancelled if consumption is lower than 4 lbs per soldier per day. The Offerors must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR). Information concerning CCR requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Centers at 1-888-227-2423. Only contractors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) can be awarded a contract. Offerors must have electronic funds transfer (EFT) capability. Offerors proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 30 days to be acknowledged in the offerors proposal. 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the lowest priced offer which is both technically acceptable and shows satisfactory past performance.
