- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources capable of providing Curbside Valet Parking Services for the VA Medical Center, located in the City of Beckley, WV. This Parking Service will be provided at the above location in accordance with a schedule showing frequency and statement of work as follows: WEEKLY- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding Federal holidays, and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be observed as a Federal holiday. MONTHLY - twelve each year. The need is for the contractor to park and/or provide assistance in parking, to veteran patients only, five days a week for approximately 400-500 outpatients seen per day. There will be Government-provided wheelchairs available to transport patients to the clinics. The contractor will deliver these wheelchairs, upon patient's or caretaker's request, to the patient to facilitate patient's travel from the car in the valet greeting area to the appointment and back to the car in the valet greeting area. The contractor will be completely liable and responsible for providing patient with a valet claim check, securing keys, parking, delivering, and directing certain valet vehicles to and from the valet greeting area. All vehicles parked by the contractor's parking attendants will be locked and secured. Driver's keys will be secured at the valet booth. The contractor will operate from the front entrance where contractor's employees will greet every vehicle excluding buses, VA transportation vehicles dropping off or picking up patients, Vendors or Contractors conducting business at the VA Medical Center, and VA employees. The contractor will have management control of vehicles entering the designated valet parking area(s) in order to maximize the space available and facilitate smooth operations. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812930. Size standard is 6.5 Mil. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing curbside valet parking services in a professional setting and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement.
