- VISN 10 Contracting Activity located at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center is in need of Architect/Engineer Services to provide all services to prepare a Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) AT 1551 105 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Property is an 18,488 Square foot building on 3. The purpose of the assessment is to identify recognized environmental conditions in connection with the property, identify whether a reasonable possibility exists that hazardous waste or hazardous materials or substances were either disposed or released to the environment on or in the vicinity of the property, and provide recommendations for Phase II testing and remediation techniques anticipated. The geographical limitation for consideration is limited to within 50 miles driving distance (using Google Maps) from the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Submission of SF 330s from firms located outside the geographical area will not be considered. Qualified A/E firms desiring consideration are invited to submit documentation outlining in-house capabilities to complete the required services in addition to the appropriate data as described in Numbered Note 24 no later than January 26, 2009. VISN 10 contracting will also be utilizing qualifications currently on station for evaluation. Those interested firms within the area of consideration shall submit three (3) copies of all requested information to the attention of Shaun McWeeny, Contract Specialist 90 (c), VA Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141. Any requests for any additional information must be received by January 23, 2009 by 12:00PM (EST), and must be submitted by email to shaun.mcweeny@va.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. Award of a contract is subject to availability of funds. This IS NOT a request for proposals and a solicitation document DOES NOT exist. See Numbered Note 24. This procurement is an Emerging Small Business set-aside. To qualify under this set-aside the interested firm must be no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541310, Size Standard $4.5 Million.
