- Sources Sought Notice - Catering at the Community Activity Center, Malmstrom AFB, MT The following is not a solicitation, it is a sources sought to determine interest in this work (details below) This proposed contract is being considered as a set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 722320. The size standard for NAICS 722320 is $7.0M. The Government is interested in all small businesses including 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are interested in performing this requirement. The Government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, etc.), anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. Description of Service: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, supervision and related supplies (including necessary food/beverages) to cater events held at the Malmstrom Community Center (formerly known as the Grizzly Bend Club). Specifically, the contractor manager and the contractor kitchen manager/chef must demonstrate to club management and the contracting officer the ability to prepare and serve a diversified American style menu for catered events. The contract will be for a basic period of one year, with four one-year option periods. While there is no guarantee to the exact number of events or number of people in attendance, historically the following events have been held annually in addition to various "unscheduled" events (special functions, weddings, private functions, etc.): - Four Quarterly Awards Breakfast. Buffet-style breakfast serving approx 100 people - One Salute to the Community Dinner. Formal evening dining event serving approximately 200 people. - Seven ALS Graduations. Formal evening dining event serving approximately 200 people. - One Chief's Induction Ceremony. Formal evening dining event serving approximately 200 people. - Monthly promotion ceremony. Typically large cake, punch, and hors d'oeuvres for approximately 100 people. - One Wing Holiday Party. Approximately 200 people. - Two Military Affairs Committee Mixers. Approximately 200 people - Eight Military Affairs Committee Luncheons. Approximately 80 people.
