- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement to procure the Accurate Navigation (ANAV) system, part number 34209400-WB44-001 for the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Block 2 aircraft Lots 26-29. The ANAV system is designed, developed and produced by Honeywell International Inc., Clearwater, FL. Honeywell provides the ANAV systems currently being delivered in the production Lot 30 and forward F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft. The Navy intends to negotiate the procurement as a sole source fixed price type contract with Honeywell; the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). As the OEM, Honeywell has the requiste knowledge, experience and technical data rights to produce the ANAV system required to implement an advanced Inertial Navigation System/Global Positioning System (INS/GPS) common capability and configuration across all F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
