- Description
- The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Syracuse, NY is seeking to contract with a local practice group who has qualifications, experience and expertise in providing quality Interventional Radiology Physician services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide (1) a guaranteed minimum on-site coverage of 4 hours per day Monday through Friday 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. Minimum of 20 hours per weeks with the exception of weeks that contain a Federal Holiday in which case the minimum will be 16 hours. Contractor shall provide a minimum of 2 weeks on-site coverage per month. (2) Weekday call coverage 5:00 PM through 8:00 AM Monday Friday, minimum of 2 weeks per month. (3) Provide weekend call coverage a minimum of 2 weekends per month. On-call coverage hours are defined as 5:00 PM Friday through 8:00 AM Monday. Call extends to 8:00 AM Tuesday if Monday is a Federal Holiday. The on-call provider must respond by phone within 15 minutes of being notified. (4) 24 hour call coverage on federal holidays. The term of the proposed contract shall be for the period March 1, 2009 through February 28, 2010 with 1 one-year option to renew. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available on or around February 2, 2009. Response Date is February 20, 2009.
