Description: The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) is seeking information regarding the availability and sources for the upgrade of up to 150 each Egyptian TOW-II Precision Gunnery Training Systems (PGTS) (this is primarily a hardware upgrade, but may include software upgrades). The existing Egyptian TOW-II PGTS includes obsolete video-disk technology with scenarios that need to be loaded onto a current hard drive computer system. The response to this survey will be provided to the Egyptian Land Forces and could result in a sole source request under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. [NOTE: The contractor selected to accomplish this work will be provided with one of the initial TOW-II PGTS (with video-disk) and with one TOW-II PGTS that has been upgraded to incorporate the scenarios into a hard drive. These units will be used to assist with the non-recurring engineering and in-plant government acceptance testing prior to shipping the kits to Egypt. The upgrade kit installation will be accomplished in Egypt.] See Attachment Contractor Logistic Support What is your proposed concept for providing in-country Contractor Logistic Support and Repair and Return Activity.
