- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, SC intends to award a sole source contract to Electrosonic, Inc.,10320 Bren Road East, Minnetonka, MN 55343 for the delivery of 125 each VN-Matrix High Resolution, Real Time Encoders/Decoders, Part Number ES3401-02. The equipment's intended purpose is to transmit and view video and highresolution computer graphic information over a distributed network. This itemis considered specialized equipment because of its current use within theNavy'sConsolidated Visual Information System (CVIS) that will be installed on ShipConstruction New / Refueling Complex Over Haul (SCN/RCOH) carriers and SCNlarge deck amphibious ships. Delivery for the equipment shall be on or beforeMarch 15, 2009. Due to critical mission requirements, delays beyond theabove delivery schedule are unacceptable. A commercial, firm-fixed-price typecontract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry ClassificationSystem (NAICS) code is 334310, and the size standard is 750 employees.This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
