Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification under existing contract N00019-07-C-0027 for the continued development and design maturation of the Precision Terrain Aided Navigation subsystem and the integration with the Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round (AUR). The effort will cover the the procurement of materials and engineering required to continue the PTAN sensor system design maturation. In addition, the system will be integrated with the Tomahawk Block IV avionics and flight tested in a captive carry environment. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Honeywell International, Defense & Space Electronic Systems, 2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55413-1719. Honeywell is th prime contractor for the development of PTAN technology and has retained the technical data package for PTAN and the unique skills required to participate in PTAN development. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
