- Description
- The 1st Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, VA has a requirement for the purchase and installation of Digital Asset Management Software for digital still imagery and video. The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The products being purchased will includen the following line items. 0001. Portfolio 8.5 UPG Client Upgrade w/3-year ASA 0002. Portfolio 8.5 UPG Server Upgrade w/3 year ASA 0003. Portfolio 8.5 UPG NetPublishing w/3 year ASA 0004. Portfolio 8.5 UPG SQL Connect w/3 year ASA 0005. Travel expenses 0006. Installation, configuration, and training 0007. Custom web and database work 0008. Three year warranty for custom work and limted customization 0009. Stream Pro 2.0 media encoder software The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price purchase order with Karcher Group; 14221-A Willard Rd. Suite 1500, Chantilly, VA 20151. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423430. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contract manager, 2d Lt Elijah Horner, within 4 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. Responses are due by 21 Jan 09 at 12:00 P.M. EST to elijah.horner@langley.af.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
