Description

The Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, an adolescent training facility, is accepting proposals for the following contracted position: Driver's Ed Instructor. This position should be expected to work for the base period of March 1, 2009 to January 31, 2011, with three 1-year options. Driver Education training at the Humphrey Job Corps Center will include 12 hours classroom instruction per week, 6 hours behind the wheel driving per student, and 2 hours onsite office time per week. The Driver Ed Instructor should plan to service roughly 7 -10 students per month. Proposal must contain cost per student for classroom instruction, hourly rate for behind the wheel training, and cost of trips to examining stations for the contract period and option years. Permit and licenses fees will be reimbursed as inceidental expenses. Also provide in proposal a copy of your commercial driver's school license provided by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and proof of liability insurance. A valid driver's license issued by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and a private vehicle inspected & authorized by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety are required.
