Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Respironics/Mini Mitter, 20300 Empire Avenue, Bldg. B-3, Bend, Oregon 97701-5745, for laboratory equipment. The items to be purchased are eighteen (18) HR G2 E-mitters with 1 inch longer leads; twelve (12) Trades of HR GE Emitters, unused; one (1) Vital View Software and HW Upgrade Package; one (1) C-9 Y-Cable and Connector Set, 10m.; four (4) C-9 Y-9 Cable and Connector Sets, 1.m, five (5) ER-4 Power Supplies; five (5) Power Cords; eighteen (18) ER-4000 Energizer Receivers; eighteen (18) G2 E-Mitter Temperature and Activity Transponders w/o batteries; and one (1) On-site hardware installation and training. CDC believes that this requirement can be met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy Agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
