Description

The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for two each Leslie Controls Part #YCSMV16, 16-inch Butterfly Valve Shaft/Disc assemblies and four each Leslie Controls Part #YCSMV20, 20-inch Butterfly Valve Shaft/Disc assemblies. Items must be Brand Name Leslie Controls. The assemblies are for Leslie Controls JP-5 Control Valves installed aboard the USNS RAINIER. The original manufacturer of the control valves is Leslie Controls and only Leslie Control Shaft/Disk Assemblies are compatible with the valves. Therefore, only Leslie Control Brand Name parts are acceptable. The use of Leslie Controls brand name requirements description in the acquisition is essential to the Government’s requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. The solicitation will be posted to the Military Sealift Command website, Contracts Page https://procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/Welcome.jsp on or about 28 January 2009 and will be posted concurrently on FedBizOpps.
