- The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCommand (SPAWARSYSCOM), in support of the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160), is hosting Common Afloat Local Area Network Infrastructure (CALI) Industry Day, which will be held in San Diego, CA on 10 February 2009 at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot (MCRD) Theater. The event will be held from 8:00AM until 12:00PM (PST). Check-in will be from 7:00AM 7:45AM. Briefings will begin promptly at 8:00AM. The purpose of this CALI Industry Day is to provide information to industry on the current status of the CALI initiative, the purpose of which is to procure Production, Engineering and Common Computing Environment Components in support of deployed Navy C4I legacy network systems. Examples of these systems include Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System Maritime (CENTRIXS-M); Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS); Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks; Submarine Local Area Network (SubLAN); Navy Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS); and Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR). The Government anticipates awarding several Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contracts (MAC) with Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee/Award- Fee (CPIF/AF) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) pricing arrangements. The basic contracts are expected to have one four-year ordering period, with an option for an additional four-year ordering period. The total estimated ceiling value of each contract is $502 million. The Government anticipates full and open competition per FAR Subpart 6.1. The final solicitation is estimated to be issued in March 2009 and will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central website (https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil). A Bidders Mailing List will not be established and hard copies of documents may not be provided. Registration for CALI Industry Day is required. Participant substitution will not be accepted. Interested parties must register online no later than 04 February 2009 at https://einvitations.afit.edu/CommonAfl oatLANInfrastructureCALI/index.cfm. Registration will be confirmed via email after a cross reference of the respondent's CAGE code and company name to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. All participants will be required to check- in the morning of CALI Industry Day. Attendees must have photo identification and show proof of vehicle registration and insurance upon entering the MCRD facility. Only those attendees who have registered before 04 February 2009 will be admitted. Due to security restrictions, no walk- in registrations will be allowed on the day of the event.
