Description
SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources and response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor's expense. The Government is seeking qualified small business concerns with specific and recent experience in Information Management Infrastructure Service Strategy and Design (IMISS&D).The services required include project management, communications, analysis and technical writing. The requirement includes the development and delivery of a Business Case Study and Analysis, the Service Strategy Publication and the Service Design Publication. The information in these three documents shall provide the Government with substantial information concerning a planned Information Management Infrastructure upgrade at Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, CA. The draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this synopsis. Contractor's staff shall possess at least a Secret clearance. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government's acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) The contractor's specific and unique experience in writing DoD IT documents detailed in the draft SOW; (2) The contractor's specific and unique experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) continual service improvement proces! ses; (3) The contractor's comments to the draft Statement of Work; (4) A reference list of related DoD contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number and email address; (5) Information related to the contractor's business size and socioeconomic status; (6) Information related to any proposed teaming partners/arrangements, if anticipated; (7) Information related to the contractor's GSA Federal Supply Schedule if the contractor has a GSA contract; (8) Comments regarding proposed NAICS 541519 or a recommendation of another NAICS; (9) A Statement as to the capability of providing contractor employees with the required security clearances; and (10) A rough range of magnitude (ROM). This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a so! licitation or award a contract. Interested parties having the required experience and skills to meet all the above requirements are invited to submit a written capability statement to carol.amano@usmc.mil by 18 Feb 2009 at 23:59 Pacific Time.
