- DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR) PART 10 MARKET RESEARCH. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and nothing shall be construed herein or through the RFI process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of the RFI. In addition, contractors responding to this RFI shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information. The information collected through this process is considered to be market research as described by FAR 2.101 and in accordance with FAR 10.002. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any further RFP, if any is issued. This RFI is issued to assess the level of interest and capabilities of all interested parties. Background & Description of Requirement: In fulfilling its core mission, the OCC’s Global Banking and Financial Analysis Division (GBFA) continuously analyzes of credit conditions across the United States. To accomplish this mission, GBFA requires a loan-quality database with considerable geographic and sectoral detail. The credit database must allow comparisons across regions and bank-by-bank for the largest institutions. It shall also be capable of forecasts, and the forecasts should be linked with a macroeconomic forecasting service, including regional detail. Forecasts should include alternative macroeconomic scenarios. The solution shall include data on household financial position, such as homeowner’s equity, aggregate loan-to-value ratios, and debt servicing burdens. Information Requested: Respondents to this RFI shall provide the following information: a.Contractor background summary including: contractor name, DUNS, point of contact information, email, phone and business size. b.Solution and Product Overview – Describe products or services available through your organization that address the above requirement. Also please detail how your solution screens data for errors or inconsisties. c.Functionality Detail – Describe the functionality incorporated in your products or service associated with meeting the requirement. d.Past Performance – Describe one or more successful implementations of your products or services in a similar circumstance as presented above. Provide customer contact information where that solution was implemented including: contact name, organization, telephone number, and email address for each example that you provide. RFI Response Guidelines and Procedures: Responses to the information requested is limited to fifteen (15) pages and not exceed 1MB in size. All response shall be submitted to Brian Carper, via email at Brian.Carper@occ.treas.gov no later than 12:00 on February 2, 2009. Please note that no telephone calls will be accepted.
