- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of commercial or Non-Developmental Item (NDI) vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio. The U.S. Marine Corps has a requirement for approximately 3,748 kits along with spares, associated documentation, technical support, training support CONUS and OCONUS (training is not in a combat zone), and training manuals. The following minimum requirements apply to the vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio: The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio shall consist of a receiver-transmitter interface which will support the AN/PRC-117F, provide a minimum of three antenna ports capable of providing support to Very-High Frequency (VHF) VHF (Frequency Modulated) FM 30-90 MHz, (Ultra-High Frequency) UHF Line of Sight (LOS) 225-512 MHz, and UHF Satellite Communications (SATCOM). The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio shall be equipped with a power amplifier which will be incrementally selectable up to 50W. The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio power amplifier will provide the capability to integrate a VHF 30-90 MHz collocation filter and a UHF 225-512 MHz collocation filter. The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio will receive 24-28 VDC power input. The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio will provide an adaptable and flexible base for integration with current and future USMC vehicle platforms and ! accommodate emerging technologies. The vehicular installation kit for the AN/PRC-117F radio will comply with MIL-STD-810G. The delivery requirement is for 200 kits due 90 days after contract award, another 200 kits due 120 days after contract award, followed by a sustained production rate of 350 kits per month. MARCORSYSCOM will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of responses to the request for information. Industry firms capable of providing the required systems, in whole, are invited to submit a response to this notice. Firms should include literature, brochures, price lists, and capabilities summaries limited to 5 pages directly addressing their ability to meet the aforementioned needs to include the required delivery schedule. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, Size: 750 employees. Firms shall indicate their business size based upon NAICS code 334220. The Marine Corps will use the results of this announcement to determine what capabilities exist in the marketplace to fulfill the Government's requirements outlined above.
