- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific intends to issue a contract for 1) Roof repair/coating at building 22 (gymnasium), Zukeran Elementary school in Okinawa, Japan. This requirement will be procured utilizing competitive best value source selection evaluation process in accordance with FAR 15. Technical evaluation factors for this procurement will be 1)Past Performance. Offerors will be required to submit past performance information. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract. Delivery is F.O. B. Destination to Zukeran Elementary School, Camp Forster, Okinawa, Japan. Specific offeror submittal requirements and specification information will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-09-R-7004 to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about 23 January 2009, to close 30 days from RFP issuance date. The anticipated award date will be on or about 9 March 2009. A Site Visit is scheduled for 6 February 2009 at 10:30 am, local Japan time. All offerors interested in attending the Site Visit at Zukeran Elementary School must first email Mr. Huan Nguyen at huan.nguyen@pac.dodea.edu to coordinate the number of attendees (limit 3 per party). All attendees must meet Mr. Nguyen at the Main Gate of Camp Forster at 10:00 am on 6 Feb 2009. This entire project must be completed within 270 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The Department of Defense requires all offerors and contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
