- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Heavy Equipment Rental) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-09-Q-0013 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7353. The small business size standard is 7.0 MIL. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W025. This solicitation is for the rental of heavy equipment for an upcoming range project. The equipment will be rented from February 16, 2009 to April 15, 2009, for a total of 59 days. The end-user has requested that all equipment wheels will have 50% of tire tread wear or better, and all cabs must be enclosed with air conditioning/heating. The end user is also looking for a flat rate vice hourly rate. All items will be delivered and picked up at the airfield on Camp Wilson aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, Twenty-nine Palms, CA. The following includes the size and the quantity of what is needed, please note that the bare minimums are listed. All items quoted must meet or exceed requirements': CLIN 0001- Qty: 2: 4X4 Tractor that is capable of hooking up to and towing the disc harrow requested in line item 2. CLIN 0002- Qty: 2: Disc Harrow, 8 Foot offset. Comparable to the Wil-Rich 7650 disc harrow CLIN 0003- Qty: 1 Water truck capable of holding at least 2000 gallons of water. All tires must have at least 50% tread wear or better on all tires. CLIN 0004- Qty: 1: Double roller Compactor, multiquip 3-ton, ride-on smooth, vibratory roller, double drum..CLIN 0005-Qty: 1: Any delivery or pickup charges for the requested epuipment. Place of contract delivery will be Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC) Twentynine Palms, CA. The winner of this award is required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow.
