Description
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for maintenance, upgrading, and expansion of existing installed Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems and equipment for CBP Office of Information and Technology (OIT) facilities located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. Security systems for these locations must integrate 100% with the existing DSX systems for proper monitoring and access control. The anticipated award does not allow for replacement of the existing infrastructure. This sources sought synopsis is being issued to determine whether any other source is capable of fulfilling the Government’s requirement. Any potential source must be an authorized DSX Access Control Dealer/Provider for the Washington DC/Metro area. Any offeror that believes they are capable of meeting the above requirement may submit information by e-mail (only) to Cynthia Young at cynthia.young@dhs.gov not later than 4 February 2009. The information must be sufficient to determine the offeror’s capabilities to fulfill the above noted requirement. This synopsis is intended for information and planning purposes only and the government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. Based upon responses received, the government reserves the right to determine the format for solicitation.
