Description

THIS IS OPEN AS AN IFB, INVITATION FOR BID. The 184th Intelligence Wing, McConnell AFB, Wichita, Kansas intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for the construction of project PRQE 059348, BRAC-STRAPP relocation. Project is located at McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kansas, and will be constructed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Magnitude of this project is approximately between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Completion time is anticipated to take approximately 270 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. There will be an on-site Pre-Bid meeting, for all interested contractors and subcontractors, on 5 Feb 2009 at 9:00AM at Building 3, 53260 Jayhawk Drive, Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB, Wichita, Kansas. Bids will be accepted until 17 Mar 2009, 2:00PM, CST. This project consists of construction of a new free standing pre-engineered metal building approximately 8,900 SF. Proposed construction includes reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab with steel framed masonry walls, exterior brick veneer, and standing seem metal roof structure. All interior walls, utilities, and special equipment are to include antiterrorism/force protection measures. Complete mechanical, piping, fire protection, electrical lighting and electrical power are included as part of the work.
