Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), intends the acquisition of FAA COURSE 22669: SCHEDULED MAITNENACE REQUIREMENTS USING MSG-3, intended for FFA Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI/Airworthiness/Avionics). The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract, consisting of a Basic 1-year and 3 renewable 1-year option periods, if exercised with best estimated guess (BEQ) of five (5) classes per year through the Period of Performance (POP). The estimated award date is 1 Mar 2009. At this time the FAA intends this action to a single source in accordance with AMS 3.2.2.4. Estimated Release date of the SIR/RFO is 06 Feb 2009. The Contractor must be able to provide classroom training for FAA Aviation Safety Inspectors upon contract award. The 32 hour class will be conducted at a location provided by the contractor. The FAA has determined that the urgent need of the training requires highly qualified instructors with a developed course and instructors capable of providing the training. All interested parties with a current qualified program and instructors capable of offering FAA COURSE 22669: SCHEDULED MAITNENACE REQUIREMENTS USING MSG-3, for FFA Aviation Safety Inspectors should email the Contracting Officer (CO) Kathrine T.
