Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. This solicitation, number 9T-C-145, is to be used for a reference of Request for Quote (RFQ) only. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns. The NAICS code is 314999 and the size standard is 500 employees. Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 apply. The items requested for this synopsis/solicitation can be found in the RFQ Worksheet attachment. This is a brand name or equal requirement. Please propose delivery date on RFQ Worksheet. Ship To: 3700 Randolph Ave, Bldg 437, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117, c/o MSgt Ryan Schultz, 342 TRS/Det 1. Quote should include descriptive literature and must be effective through 30 Sep 09. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies-Quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1.technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement for Parachute Items or equal; 2.price; 3.delivery date (see FAR 15.304). Compatibility to current training equipment/material, and avoidance of duplicative costs makes this a brand name or equal requirement. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29.
