- DESC: Pulse Forming Network; NSN: 1240-00-435-4722, Part Number: 10559345, for a quantity of 276 each. The item to procure is a PFN Charge Power Supply for the M60 Tank. Components include aluminum casting, two printed circuit boards, pulse transformers, power reactors, power transformers, rectifiers, electrical connectors, diodes, integrated circuits, capacitors, transistors, resistors and wiring harness. The approximate size is 6 inches X 4 inches X 3inches. FOB is DESTINATION. To be used on the M1 Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is 5 Feb 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price, for 276 each, with three 100 percent options. This will be 100 percent Hubzone Set-aside competitive acquisition.
