- The VAMC Spokane, WA, intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal to Hasler, INC, for the provision of postage funds for the Hasler WJ180DWP mailing system, which is used by the Medical Center. The postage requirement will be for the estimated period of one year. These services are intended to support the Medical Center postage requirements for one year. The NAICS Code for this procurement is: 424120. The Government believes that the Hasler, Inc. is the only provider of this service that will satisfy the agency requirements, due proprietary software that is required to load postage on the Hasler mail meter. This is sole source procurement under FAR Parts 12 and 13, Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes it can meet the following requirements may give written notification with documentation that specifically details how this service will be performed to the Contracting Officer, VAMC Spokane, WA. 4815 N Assembly St, Spokane, WA. Within seven (7) days from the date of publication of this synopsis: The provider of postage service must have the capability to interface with Hasler WJ180DWP mailing system, which will allow postage to be loaded on the meter; it is the Government's understanding that this software has proprietary properties that are unique to Hasler, INC.
