- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a preventative maintenance agreement to aid in the operation of 12 Modula D-250 Dual Tower Vertical Lift Modules located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The requirement requires a Contractor to provide one (1) yearly preventative maintenance service (all recommended maintenance and thorough inspection of each of the twelve (12) machines components and operation), all parts, shipping & handling, labor to replace any broken part, standard phone support Monday thru Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 8:30 P.M., emergency repair services (during business hours and after business hours), and 24-48 business hour response time. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. It is anticipated that this requirement will be a total small business set aside. A period of performance of a 12-month base period plus four (4) 12-month options is anticipated. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333922, Conveyor and Conveying and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government anticipates issuing RFQ W91247-09-T-0122, on or around 3 February 2009. The RFQ and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
