Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY - A SOLICITATION WILL FOLLOW LATER. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC), has identified a requirement for two on-site manufacturer certified technicians to maintain telecommunication (PBX) systems (includes moves, adds and changes at the Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus and eleven affiliated VAMC facilities located within a 70 mile radius of the Lakemont Campus, Orlando Florida. The NAICS is 811213 (size standard of $7.0 Million). Interested small businesses, should submit a written Capabilities/Experience Statements and annual Financial Reports to the Contracting Office listed below no later than 4:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Interested small businesses shall demonstrate that its on-site personnel are certified by the telecommunication equipment manufacturer and have direct access and technical support 24/7 from telecommunication system manufacturer. Current telecommunication systems are NEC SV7000 VOIN 1213X, NEC 2400 IPX, NEC 2000 IPS, Comdial, and Lucent Partner Plus. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, management, tools, testing equipment, and transportation to fulfill this requirement. The Government will furnish all telecommunication systems, cable, and materiel requiring routine and scheduled preventative maintenance to include moves, adds, changes and new installation. The primary place of performance for the two on-site technicians is the Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus, 2500 Lakemont Ave, Orlando, Florida, 32893. Contractor travel cost to and from the contractors place of business to the Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus and affiliated facilities within a 50 mile radius of the Lakemont campus will not be reimbursed. Government approved travel beyond the 50 mile radius of the Lakemont Campus may be reimbursed in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation. It is the intent of the VA Medical Centers to enter into a contract with a single provider for all services required for one base year and two one-year option periods.
